01st October, 2024Position Summary:The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. This role involves coaching and developing employees to meet production goals while maintaining cost-effectiveness. The position requires working the 3rd shift, Monday through Friday, from 10:30 p.m. to 8:00 a.m., with flexibility for weekend shifts as needed. Duties and Responsibilities:
Utilize core business knowledge and processes to execute tasks based on organizational priorities and strategic goals. Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and operational standards. Foster strong collaboration between departments to achieve both departmental and team objectives. Develop and implement action plans promptly and effectively to address operational needs. Represent the company positively within the community, promoting goodwill and maintaining its interests. Provide mentoring and coaching to direct reports, creating a culture of continuous learning and development. Align team and individual goals with corporate strategy, prioritizing safety, quality, and productivity. Advocate for continuous improvement and process innovation, encouraging team members to adopt new approaches. Build and lead high-performance teams, enhancing employee performance through feedback and coaching. Make informed talent decisions regarding recruitment, promotions, and development to strengthen leadership potential within the team. Take responsibility for identifying and addressing any food safety or quality issues to prevent problems. Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum education required: High school diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least six years of experience in a related role.
- Regular and punctual attendance during the designated working hours set by the Department Manager is required.
