Our client one of the largest metals distributors in the US, is currently seeking a 2nd shift Supervisor (330pm – 12midnight) to join their team. They offer an extensive product portfolio, state-of-the-art fabrication and processing capabilities, and a network of service centers throughout North America and beyond. Our customers can count on us to get the metals they need, when they need them, at a competitive price.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:- Directing the efficient function of plant operations including but not limited to production equipment, shipping, receiving, and inventory- Understanding production goals and implements actions necessary to meet objectives- Provide leadership to direct reports: coach and counsel employees- Directing a union labor force- Directing production equipment including cut to length line, plasma burning, sheet shear, band saws- Facilitate problem solving and team building activities- Participate in the Performance Management Process (PMP)- Carry out and support company policies, goals, and objectivesThe main thing the client is looking for is leadership, highlight that, and they will teach you the rest.Full benefits, PTO - Bonus structure.
