A subsidiary of one of the world's largest and best-known building materials companies is hiring for a Production Supervisor at a world-class manufacturing facility. The Little Rock, AR facility that makes rolled roofing is looking for a strong leader who will be responsible for all production activities of a 6?8-person (some shifts could be as high as 13 people) production team. They need someone who can manage and direct the activities of the production line personnel to safely produce quality products. You will need to monitor and direct the production activities and production line personnel. You will be held accountable to ensure production activities are carried out in compliance with all environmental, health, and safety requirements, policies, and procedures. This position reports directly to the Production Superintendent. While this position is not a hands on role they need a leader who can learn manufacturing processes quickly and has experience in properly coaching, mentoring and developing the production team. This is a Union facility, and they are not as structured as the military, they are not looking for a drill sergeant but instead they need someone with good people and communication skills who influence the team to work as a cohesive unit, while coaching and handling discipline. You must be capable of handling difficult discussions with your team, both individually and as part of the team.They have 3 openings in Arkansas, and this is a rotating shift role that rotates through all 3 shifts including 8-hour shifts Monday-Friday and 12-hour weekend shifts. You will have 2 weekends a month off, including one 3-day weekend.In TN they have 2 openings, one on 2nd shift 3pm to 11pm and one on 3rd shift, 11pm to 7am. These are Monday - Friday shifts that do work some weekends.Base salary, plus a target bonus (18% max). Overtime eligible for any hours over 45. It is possible to make six-figures with overtime.
