They operate six manufacturing facilities across the Midwest and Southeast (each with world-class manufacturing capabilities).They are currently looking for a Production Supervisor in their Ward, SC location (about 1 hour west of Columbia)The Production Supervisor is responsible for facilitating and coordinating the production activities and resources of manufacturing operations per established practices and policies within their job area to ensure the timely delivery of quality product that meet or exceed customer expectations while keeping safety first. This position establishes and maintains a positive employee relations environment. Additionally, the candidate will clearly communicates expectations and consistently hold themselves and employees accountable for performance.Essential duties and responsibilities:- Establish workflow policies that enhance speed and efficiency without compromising product safety or integrity- Create schedules for employees to ensure optimum staffing levels- Manage and evaluate machine resources to ensure productivity and minimal downtime- Oversee a workforce of 100+ employees- Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity across all product lines- Ensure employees follow industry standards, health and safety guidelines- Set production goals and communicate to key personnel- Other duties as assignedNight shift, Monday - ThursdayBase salary, plus quarterly bonus 4% and a yearly bonus and a 401k.
