We have an outstanding career opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join a leading Company located in the Falconer, NY surrounding area.Salary: $65,000 - $75,000The Production Supervisor will supervise and coordinate activities of production employees in manufacturing operations. Job Responsibilities:
- Maintain a positive work environment by cooperating with management and coworkers.
- Review production orders or schedules to check product data.
- Inspect products to verify production quality matches the quality plan specifications and adjust corrugated equipment when needed.
- Enforces safety, company policies, and any rules and regulations set up by management.
- Resolves worker grievances or confers with the Production manager on unsettled grievances for action.
- Conduct employee disciplinary actions as needed.
- Responsible for approving and scheduling all employee vacation requests.
- Document all reported employee accidents and follow the correct OSHA and HR procedures.
- Train new and permanent employees in manufacturing, safety and quality procedures.
- Resolves production and employee-related issues in the plant on a daily basis.
Basic Hiring Criteria:
- Associate's Degree or equivalent four years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong Microsoft Skills.
- ERP experience.
- Ability to lead and develop teams.
- Ability to collaborate across the organization.
- Previous packaging or corrugated experience a PLUS.
