You will coordinate the daily activities of production personnel in the manufacturing and packaging of products for a Business Unit(s)RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assigns employee tasks and provides work directions and feedback, may participate in performance reviews, new hiring interviewing, disciplinary actions
- Responds to questions from internal and external customers regarding packaging/manufacturing processes and issues
- Reviews and reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to achieve optimal productivity and cost
- Works closely with Maintenance team to ensure equipment operates efficiently
- Ensures data is entered and tracked in computer systems accurately
- Coordinates continuous improvement and 5S efforts in the production departments

- 3 years of supervisory experience in a related technical field
- High School Diploma or equivalency is required, and an associate's degree is a plus
- Ability to independently problem-solve and apply critical thinking
- Synthesizes diverse information to recommend optimal decisions within the department
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills: MS Office Suite, Internet, email, ERP software
- Ability to monitor workflow to meet customer expectations, safety and quality specifications and on-time delivery
- Proven ability to collaborate with other departments to optimize processes
