Position Purpose

Oversee the operating activities of the production departments on assigned shift. Be a resource to all production employees on assigned shift to obtain maximum production in a safe, timely, efficient and quality manner.

Principle Accountabilities

* Ensure product is produced as scheduled, to quality and customer specifications.

* Ensure materials are available for work orders and coordinate set ups and product changes.

* Maintain records and reports, such as Safety incident reports, production reports, supervisors log, employee attendance forms, etc.

* Troubleshoot machinery problems, enter work orders and direct maintenance needs on shift.

* Document job transfers, overtime & call time during shifts for payroll purposes.

* Ensure overtime and vacancy coverage is completed as needed.

* First responder for accidents, injuries, weather and other emergencies.

* Related tasks as requested by supervisor

Essential Skills and Experience

* Prior manufacturing supervisory experience and/or education is a plus

* 3+ years of manufacturing strongly preferred.

* Experience working in a Distrustion Center environment.

* Must be able to work various shifts, including weekends as necessary

* Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required.

* Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

* Exceptional organizational and time management skills required.

* Able to be certified in CPR, first aid, and AED
