Weyerhaeuser is seeking a Production Supervisor for our lumber manufacturing facility in Philadelphia, MS. As Production Supervisor, you will provide leadership excellence to a shift of hourly associates in achieving safety, quality, and production goals. You will also be responsible for safely planning, coordinating, and maintaining operational goals and schedules, and supporting maintenance to ensure continuous process improvement. The Philadelphia operation is a large, random length sawmill primarily producing lumber up to 20 feet in length with some specialty related capacity. Our facility is a high-tech manufacturing operation with recent capital upgrades, resulting in top performance. The position is a rotating schedule that includes both first and night shifts including occasional weekends.
Key Functions:

* Ensure compliance with all applicable Weyerhaeuser, federal, state, and local laws, and regulations
* Develop and lead team meetings and training, identify safety, quality and production issues, coordinate activities with the maintenance team, and take measures to address all concerns
* Proactively resolve employee issues; build teamwork; inspire an environment of continuous improvement and accountability; and ensure adherence to all applicable site policies and procedures in a fair and consistent manner

Qualifications
* High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
* Willing to work rotating schedules and weekends as business needs dictate
* Minimum one (1) year experience in a supervisory or key leadership role
* Work related experience in leading and ensuring compliance with safety initiatives
* Excellent interpersonal, written, verbal and electronic communication skills
* Demonstrated ability to raise performance by building and maintaining positive relationships with all associates through coaching, development and instilling a continuous improvement mind-set
* Strong problem solving, planning and organizational skills
* Demonstrated basic computer skills and proficiency in MS Office and other windows-based programs
* Willing and able to work all shifts, including weekends
* Strong work ethic, good judgment, and decision-making skills
* Working knowledge of business and financial concepts
* Demonstrated results in achieving and sustaining business goals

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree
* Work experience in production environment
* Hands-on experience working with optimizing systems
* Knowledge of the lumber manufacturing process
What We Offer:
Compensation: This role is eligible for our annual merit-increase program, and we are targeting a salary range of $66,800 to $100,000 based on your level of skills, qualifications, and experience. You will also be eligible for our Annual Incentive Program, which offers a cash bonus targeting 5% of base pay. Potential plan funding may range from zero to two times that target.

Paid Time Off or Vacation: We provide eligible employees who are scheduled to work 25 hours or more per week with paid vacation for up to 3 weeks to use during your first year of employment. In addition, after being employed for six months, eligible employees begin to accrue vacation for future use. We also recognize eleven paid holidays per year, providing a total of 88 hours along with paid parental leave for all full-time employees
