* Oversee daily operations of the production technician teams to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
* Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate production output.
* Lead and mentor team leads, and production employees.
* Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, performance metrics, and production updates.
* Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
* Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to ensure deadlines are met.
* Ensure all production activities comply with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
* Implement and maintain quality control procedures to identify and resolve production issues promptly.
* Analyze production processes and identify areas for improvement.
* Implement lean manufacturing practices to reduce waste and increase efficiency.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
* Promote a safe working environment by enforcing safety policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
* Prepare and present regular production reports to the Production Manager.
* Maintain accurate records of production activities, equipment maintenance, and employee performance.
* Manage resources effectively, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
Qualificationsarrow_right
* Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
* Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a production supervisory role, preferably in the automotive aftermarket industry.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, SAP, and payroll systems preferred.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
