In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the first shift production team to ensure smooth and efficient production processes. You will work closely with warehouse management, quality teams, and other departments to maintain production standards, improve workflows, and achieve daily output goals.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and lead the first shift production team to meet daily production targets and maintain schedules.Monitor production workflows to ensure efficiency, quality, and compliance with industry standards.Coordinate with the warehouse and supply chain teams to ensure materials are available and properly staged for production.Evaluate and improve production processes to minimize waste and maximize productivity.Ensure compliance with safety protocols and promote a safe working environment for all staff.Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to production associates, fostering a culture of continuous learning.Maintain accurate records of production data, including output levels, downtime, and quality issues.Collaborate with quality assurance teams to identify and resolve product quality issues promptly.Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and team performance.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred).Previous supervisory experience in a production or manufacturing environment (preferably in healthcare or flexible packaging).Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members.Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Proficient in production planning tools and basic knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems (i.e. Radius, SAP, Oracle, etc)Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and team spirit.
