Responsibilities include but not be limited to optimization of resources necessary to meet production, safety, customer satisfaction, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers within several lines of production Ensure that production targets and quality standards are met on a consistent basis Monitor and maintain production schedules to ensure timely completion of orders Train and mentor production staff to enhance performance and productivity Implement and enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment Collaborate with other supervisors and departments to optimize production processes Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to production staff Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and productivityREQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS: High School Diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree (desirable) Previous experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing environment Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Knowledge of production processes and quality control standards Experience working with vinyl siding or similar materials is preferred Flexibility to work third shift hours and weekends as neededWork EnvironmentThe atmosphere is that of a manufacturing plant and office space. The position will primarily work where moving machinery produces noise. Employees must wear Personal Protective Equipment that isissued for that location. Temperature can range from extreme cold to extreme heat. Frequent use of company communication devices are required such as a computer, phone, and other office electronics.Associated Materials is a leader in exterior building products for residential and commercial remodeling and new construction markets.
