Our client, a leading industrial establishment, is seeking a Production Supervisor to join their team. As a Production Supervisor, you will be part of the production department supporting the metal manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Marion, NC

Pay Range: $25+

What's the Job?

• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers engaged in metal manufacturing processes, such as machining, metal forming, assembling, and welding, applying knowledge of processes involved, production methods, and products.
• Ensure that training is provided to the employees in proper work methods and procedures.
• Inspect products to verify conformance to specifications and direct setup and adjustments of machines.
• Prepare production reports for upper management and staff.
• Ensure the safety of workers in the organization by following all safety guidelines and enforcing all safety policies.

What's Needed?

• Must have leadership skills to direct employees toward production goals.
• Must be familiar with the methods of production used in the department including machinery.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings and blueprints.
• Maintain adherence to company policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.
• Utilize problem-solving techniques, teamwork building strategies, process control, and continuous process improvement tools to meet or exceed the facility key operating statistics.
