You'll invest the majority of your time in three key areas:
- Supervising employees and coordinating the packaging operation to achieve established goals.
- Ensure the packaging is done safely and efficiently while maintaining a quality product within established cost standards and service levels.
- Directly responsible for ensuring that all assigned employees are properly trained and adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines as required by Nortera, OSHA, Dept of Homeland Security, FDA, etc..
Specifically, you will:
- Identify and maintain optimal staffing levels for the shift to meet operational needs.
- Motivate, coach, develop, and mentor employees, while leading by example at all times.
- Interact and support in a professional manner all other facility functions, (Human Resources, Maintenance, Quality Systems, Logistics) as part of a focused, cohesive team.
- Enforce and implement policies to establish a culture of health and safety.
You will bring the following to the business:
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication skills, bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
Your profile:
- A forward-thinking, solutions-oriented mindset to plan and create innovative campaigns
- A proactive, self-starter approach with the ability to take initiative and run with projects independently, working with discretion and under pressure as needed
- A positive, energetic attitude and natural leadership qualities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and shifts
- A minimum of 2 years of experience is desired
