Production Supervisor - Manufacturing Industry
General Accountabilities:
The Production Supervisor responsibility includes ensuring that production processes deliver products on time to customer needs with maximum quality, in a profitable manner. The ideal candidate should exhibit the ability to comprehend complex operations and has experience in problem solving and optimizing of employee job performance with use of key metrics and Lean manufacturing principles.
Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of supervisory experience required
• Associate's degree from an accredited school in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or related preferred
• Knowledge in manufacturing or engineering processes
• Experience with MS Office suite and ERP systems, preferably SAP
• Ability to hire, train and develop potential employees
• Availability to work occasional weekends and variable hours
• Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
• Ability to multi-task and can work with minimal supervision
• Ability to stand for long periods on solid surfaces
