Job Description:

Talentbridge is partnered with a family owned and operated team in the midst of major growth. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor with a strong background in the textile industry. This position will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient production of Non-woven goods by overseeing a team across multiple process. This position requires exceptional leadership skills, motivation of personnel, and a commitment to maintaining high standards in quality and safety. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the personnel to meet production targets.
  • Ensure that all machinery and equipment related to carding are well-maintained and functioning optimally.
  • Monitor production processes to minimize downtime and maintain product quality.
  • Lead, train, and motivate a team of production workers to achieve performance targets.
  • Create and maintain a positive and safe working environment for the team.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to meet product specifications and standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify and address defects or deviations from quality standards.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to continuously improve product quality.
  • Monitor and control raw material usage to minimize wastage and optimize resources.
  • Coordinate with the materials management team to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demand and delivery deadlines.
  • Adjust production plans as needed to accommodate changes in orders or priorities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in the workplace.
  • Investigate and report any safety incidents or near misses and implement corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports, including production quantities, downtime, and quality data.
  • Provide regular production updates to senior management.
Qualifications:
  • Textiles Industry experience is preferred, but experience with industrial equipment and manufacturing is required.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing, with understanding of carding operations.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of machinery, equipment, and processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to safety and quality standards.
