Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. This role is in Chico Texas at our Lake Bridgeport Quarry.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Oversee daily quarry production operations to ensure efficiency and safety.
- Implement and monitor production schedules and quality standards.
- Manage and train production staff to optimize performance.
- Coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations.
Essential Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years in aggregate production or at least 3 years in a supervisory role within a related industry.
- Strong leadership abilities with clear, concise, and respectful communication skills.
- Ability to maintain composure and professionally present information, responding effectively to questions.
- Motivation and adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with fluctuating shift schedules, extensive movement across the plant, and occasional lifting of heavy objects and working in confined spaces.
