Support in continuous improvement activities, driving best practices, and innovation initiatives. This role is critical in providing support to the Value Stream. Promotes, creates, and ensures that a safe work environment is maintained.Actively participates in programs such as TOPS, Safety Committees, 5S programs, SOP implementation. Uses and assures that all employees are using the required PPE. Drives safety through the organization to ensure that all staff are following the proper safety procedures.Creates and shares a vision and strategy for the organization, department, or team. Drives a culture that supports CPI's values. Sets and regularly communicates expectations and ensures goals are aligned with CPI's strategic initiatives. Measures team against goals and holds team and self accountable for results.Effectively motivate and inspire teamwork within and between departments. Have the ability to lead through example. Actively seeks guidance and cooperation from the cross-functional team.Participate in Kaizen Events and improvements on the production floor from the SQDC vision.Demonstrates sound reasoning, fact-based, qualitative, analytical approach in making decisions. Utilizes and applies the best available knowledge, information, and expertise in addressing issues. Effectively translates business requirements into actions to ensure plans are executed so goals are achieved.Monitor customer shipping schedule, Production Planning, Traffic, Customer Service, and Customer to establish shipping schedules. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FORQualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical degree.3-5 years experience in a logistics supervisory role or related field.Knowledge of manufacturing and sheet metal fabrication.CBS Tool Champion in standard work for Flow or Lean Manufacturing background.Proficient in the use of Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.Availability to attend out-of-hours meetings.Ability to lift items weighing under 35lbs.Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorships of an employment Visa at this time.
