The Production Supervisor is accountable for overseeing production crews to attain production, cost and quality goals while maintaining a safe work environment.- The position schedules the appropriate staff to meet production demands and monitors shift progress to meet expected key performance indicators. Incumbent has responsibility to provide direction and to support workforce in compliance with policies, procedures and practices established by the Company.
**Essential Functions:**
+ Safety - Ensure safety protocols, programs & requirements are followed. Monitor work area for cleanliness and safety. Quickly address any safety concerns and raise issues appropriately. Prepare incident/accident reports as needed and actively conduct necessary follow-up.
+ Production planning - Assign workload, monitor subordinates' progress, and evaluate results. Monitor overall quality. Ensure equipment and supplies are available for scheduled work. Problem solve production issues and identify solutions using Root cause Analysis. Provide continuous process and production improvement recommendations. Review end of shift reports and ensure accuracy and thoroughness of report.
+ Time & Attendance - Schedule employees including Overtime, ensure UKG timecard accuracy and meet deadlines for payroll.
+ Compliance - Administer Company policy, practice & procedure. Work with HR on issues that require support and/or intervention. Raise concerns with employee behaviors, activities to your manager and/or HR.
+ Communication - Provide essential communication for production crew. Share business updates and news coming from site and/or business
+ People Leadership - Oversee training, coach, develop, and performance manage employees. Respectfully communicate opportunities for improvement related to key metrics (Yield & Uptime).
+ Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
+ 5+ Years of Manufacturing (Required)
+ 5+ Years of Supervision/Leadership (Required)
+ TF Reporting/Safety (Preferred)
+ Microsoft Office (Required)
+ SAP (Preferred)
+ Good verbal and written communication skills (Required)
+ Demonstrate through actions and behaviors the SG Principles of Conduct and Action (Required)
