Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour full-time position with overtime as needed.
Shift/Schedule: Day shift - Monday to Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

SUMMARYThe Production Supervisor is responsible for ensuring operations run smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on position and will oversee the production floor, shipping and quality departments. This position will ensure the team is continuously improving on, as well as meeting our KPI's. This position is responsible for sustaining, implementing and contributing to the quality standards for operational systems, incoming material and outgoing finished products. This is accomplished through: monitoring, auditing, sampling, controlling documentation and procedures. The Production Supervisor reports directly to the Plant Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Responsible for all aspects of the production floor to include Shipping and Quality. Develop and maintain an understanding of the operational processes.
- Adhere to safe work practices while ensuring we meet our customers' expectations of on-time delivery and the highest quality standards.
- Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and tasks. Ensure projects are resourced and monitor progress through successful completion.
- Provide leadership in team building, lean manufacturing methods, 5S, planning, and establishing clear measures that keep everyone focused on operational metrics.
- Trains production employees in production processes, determining and assessing level of skill, to accommodate the fluctuation in production demands
- Assign duties to employees, checking their activities at regular intervals to ensure quality work is performed.
- Directs the day-to-day activities of the warehouse, such as shipping, receiving, inventory control, etc.
- Assist in assigning priorities to the shipping and production teams and monitoring the completion and quality of shipping and projects.
- Oversee and lead daily order shipping of customer products for on-time and accurate delivery.
- Communicate discrepancies in products, orders, or performance issues to the Team Lead's and work to resolve the issue for efficient and timely performance.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and records of shipments, invoices and other relevant information.
- Ensure materials and products are packaged and labelled effectively and in a quality manner
- Responsible for accuracy of monthly material audit and any inventory checks. Identify, justify, and reconcile inventory discrepancies
- Drive First Time Quality and build products to company/customer specifications.
- Monitor employee productivity while providing constructive feedback.
- Collaborate with Plant Manager to develop and implement controls and improvements.
- Maintain compliance to current regulatory standards and customer specific requirements as applicable
- Develop, implement, and maintain a quality system to include finished goods and raw materials
JOB REQUIREMENTS- Occasional lifting of 20-40lbs.
- Standing or sitting for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to read measurements on yard sticks, meter sticks or tape measures.
- Ability to understand written and verbal instructions.
- Must be able to work alongside others as well as independently.
- High level of attention to detail.
- Ability to give and receive corrective criticism and guidance.
- Constant professional interaction with subordinates, customers, other members of the leadership team.
