If you are an experienced Maintenance Supervisor looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Manufacturer of large custom-designed control valves, you will work in a dynamic and high-tech production facility based in our Marshalltown, Iowa location.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
* Responsible for supervision and leadership of bargaining unit hourly employees.
* Manage day-to-day operations to maximize production while reducing costs and improving quality, timely delivery, and safety.
* Have knowledge of maintenance and facilities support services functions, related operating practices.
* Supervise and communicate the necessary maintenance and repair of buildings, grounds equipment and production facilities.
* Support and promote strong safety culture.
* Confirm compliance and remain current with OSHA, EPA, hazardous waste handling and other regulations.
Who You Are:
You balance planning with actions. You effectively communicate in various settings: one-on-one, small and large groups, or among diverse styles and position levels. You define issues and can map out a process. You drill down to root causes to capture relevant information.
For This Role, You Will Need:
* High School Diploma or GED with equivalent experience.
* One year of maintenance experience.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
* Bachelor's degree or two-year technical degree preferred.
* Welding experience.
* Waste Water Treatment experience.
* Previous supervisory or leadership experience including direction, engagement, and mentor.
* Effective communication skills, written and verbal with both hourly and salaried personnel.
* Proven computer skills including MS Office Suite and maintenance management software.
* Knowledge of CNC, Manual Machines, HVAC, Pneumatic and general Electrical experience.
