Job DescriptionWe are currently working with an OEM in Dallas County, TX that is seeking a Production Supervisor who will be responsible for the implementation of programs, policies and procedures; for safety, quality, and productivity of the assigned team. They will be responsible for supporting the programs and policies established in the plant. Responsible for the implementation of programs, policies and procedures which support the following: Customer Satisfaction, Quality, Cost Reduction, Customer Service, Waste Reduction and Material Yield. They will assist in achieving plant performance objectives pertaining to manufacturing. Work with the Plant Manager and the Continuous Improvement Manager to identify teams that support continuous improvement objectives. Assist the Plant Manager in the interviewing process. Serves as a mentor to successfully chosen individual. Evaluates performance and implements development plans for subordinate department personnel. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university; four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in lean manufacturing and continuous improvement. The environment can be warm and dirty. Working with fiberglass. 20-30 employees. Position can grow to a superintendent role. Bilingual in Spanish/English is a huge plus! Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S., without current or future requirements for sponsorship of an employment-based visa status. Relocation assistance is available.
