Avtec Finishing, a leader in the metal finishing industry, is looking for a qualified Production Supervisor. Preference to someone with plating and anodizing experience, but will train the right candidate. Previous supervisory experience is a must.

Job Overview

This position is the first level of supervision of production operations in their assigned department. Review production orders and ensure production schedules are met. Organizes assigned work load. Supervises and assists employees in daily work performance. Must be a good team builder with strong leadership skills. Maintains good housekeeping and enforces safe work practices.

Basic Job Description of our Production Manager

• Develops their team to increase performance, quality, safety, and job satisfaction.
• Responsible for setting production schedule and work schedules.
• Develops training schedules for new employees.
• Evaluates the performance of workers and placing them in appropriate positions to increase productivity.
• Maintain employee records such as attendance and performance evaluations.
• Prepare production reports for upper management staff. Management may require reports on safety issues in the department, productivity, and goals.
