Production Supervisor - NIGHTS (Relocation Offered)Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor to lead our night shift operations. The ideal candidate will oversee production processes, ensure efficiency and quality standards, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing environment. This role will require strong leadership skills and the ability to implement best practices in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing setting.Location: Fort Valley, GAKey Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the night shift production team.
- Ensure production goals are met while maintaining high quality and safety standards.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and improvement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular training and mentoring sessions for team members on manufacturing processes, 5S, and Six Sigma practices.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans accordingly.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and resolve any production issues promptly.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and company policies regarding safety and quality.
- Prepare and submit production reports to management for review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- At least 3 years of experience in a production supervisory role within the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement (CI), and 5S methodologies.
- Proven track record of leading teams and achieving production goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams.
- Willingness to relocate for the position if necessary.
