DescriptionProvides accurate, timely, professional-level stage crew operations for various shows, special events, and in other performance areas throughout the company, in the community, and during promotional tours.Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in providing props and equipment in the manner instructed and/or required to maintain the quality of the production supported.
- Learns how to check props for damage prior to the start of each show and replaces any prop that appears to be defective or too worn, and checks stage for problems and unsafe conditions.
- Learns how to make props and construct stages and sets.
- Assists with checking all other stage equipment to ensure it is working properly.
Requirements
- Good eye sight, hearing and manual dexterity, and be capable of a full range of body movement.
- Able to lift and move items weighing up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft office and must be able to speak, read and write in English.
- Strong interpersonal, managerial and leadership skills as well as strong oral and written communications skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
Work Schedule:To Be Determined (19 Hours per week)All applicants must be available for an on-site interview at the Polynesian Cultural Center in Laie.
