This position works with the QA Sanitation department.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Cleans and sanitizes shoe scrubber stations.Ensures that assigned areas are properly cleaned using approved cleaning and sanitizing processes. Clean and sanitize processing and production equipment and these areas of the plant according to job standards.Clean and sanitize food processing equipment and food processing facilities. Operate specialized equipment such as floor scrubbers, scissor lifts, etc. to perform functions of job.Prevent cross contamination of product, work-in-progress, food contact surfaces and food contact packaging during sanitation procedures.Follow all company Sanitation SOPs for cleaning equipment and facility.Removal of trash/garbage for the facility; mopping as needed, cleaning of floor drains and any exterior areas requiring attention.Complete all required sanitation and work order documentation.Washes and maintains cleaning carts and tools.Maintain all sanitation related equipment including but not limited to automatic floor scrubbers, vacuums, instructions., cleaning equipment and tools.Perform other duties as assigned by the sanitation supervisor.Keeps the cleaning supplies stocked, on-hand and organized.May be asked to work in other areas as needed, if trained.You'll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Client policies and procedures.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRINGRequiredHigh school diploma or GED required.PreferredPrevious cleaning experience and knowledge of manufacturing GMP.
