Summary You will serve as a Production Support Specialist (Engines) in the Central Coordination Department (CCD) (JCJ), Planning and Operations Division of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will serve as a member of the depot level maintenance (DLM) for the assigned (TMS) production division. You will review all customer request for work to be performed concurrent with DLM and directs performance of funded effort. You will provide in depth knowledge and experience in Department of Defense program/project management, business process improvement, and integrated logistical support. You will collaborate with team and program personnel to formulate short-term and long-range program plans. You will analyze data to evaluate and recommend ways to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of work operations. You will update production Status Report (PSR) to make real-time engine entries that feed the Engine production Enhanced Status (EPES) weekly reports. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Examples of specialized experience: 1) Exceptional skills in planning, organizing, scheduling and problem definition; 2) Applying analytical and evaluative methods and techniques to issues or studies concerning the efficiency and effectiveness of program operations; 3) Demonstrating ingenuity when unconventional problems developing solutions is not covered by instructions/directions or policies; 4) Knowledge and be proficient in the Naval Depot Maintenance Systems (NDMS) and the concepts of MRP/MRP II; 5) Knowledge of Joint Deficiency Reporting System (JDRS) Aircraft Delivery Deficiency Report (ADDR); 6) Coordinating the work of others and integrate several functions into an effective program; 7) Resolving individual or group concerns relative to execution of the Master Production Schedule; 8) Receiving demand information (forecasts, orders, customer schedules, etc.) and translate it into schedules to meet the customer needs; 9) Understanding of the production process; 10) Ability to generate and maintain effective daily and weekly schedules Additional qualification information can be found from the following Office of Personnel Management website: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., professional, philanthropic, religious, spiritual, community, student, social).
