**Shift Schedule:**
1st Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Overtime as business needs require
1st Shift Starting Pay: $23.30/hour
**Job Purpose/Duties & Roles:**
Under general supervision supports current product production. Reports to the manager of In-Process Validation (IPV). Responsible for daily maintenance of test equipment. Takes ownership of process validation equipment and equipment calibrations. Tests and validates production machines according to Engineering protocols. Performs various activities to test for proper operation and quality issues of BCP machines, performing necessary rework and repair when issues are found.
Develop procedures that support process validation. Understand and assist operators running the software and hardware used in assembly production. Responsible for providing quality reports on production KPIs.
+ First on the scene to support any production IPV problem
+ Correct daily IPV production problems in a timely manner
+ Understand the Hardware and Software from a functional aspect
+ Can perform all IPV operations from an operator's standpoint
+ Own and build stock of critical parts to support IPV equipment in production
+ In the loop for any changes to HW and/or SW to IPV equipment
+ Perform scheduled PMs on all IPV equipment
+ Accurately log issues to support improvements and concerns with IPV prod support
+ Working knowledge of Pinpoint & PSPS
+ Perform IPV Equipment Calibrations
**Competency**
+ Perform rework on defective testing equipment and harnesses.
+ Ability to support Engineers by gathering data for research and evaluations.
+ Define, communicate and verify daily activities.
+ Experience using computers to run applications to record and analyze data.
+ Ability to conduct diagnostics and analysis to identify defects and quality issues with process and equipment.
+ Capacity to provide detailed summaries to leadership.
**Physical Requirements:**
- Lift parts up to 35 pounds individually
- Occasional bending, reaching, and squatting while performing tasks
- Consistent usage of required PPE for the task being performed
- Ability to work in an environment with frequently changing temperatures
- Ability to Stand at the workstation while performing tasks
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Ability to learn and implement specialized testing or calibration software used in the production process
+ Intermediate Computer and Caterpillar Systems Knowledge (Microsoft Office Applications, Assembly Tracking Reliability System (ATRS), PINPoint & Geneo)
+ Problem Solving/Troubleshooting Ability complex problems
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Experience in a high velocity manufacturing environment
+ Advanced Mechanical Aptitude
+ In depth knowledge of hydraulics including testing and calibrations.
+ Ability to read electrical schematics and follow the electrical circuits on machines.
+ Lean manufacturing or Six-Sigma
+ Experience using Gage R&R
+ Ability to solder
