  • As a Production Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability and efficiency of our systems by collaborating closely with infrastructure partners, development teams, and other stakeholders.
  • You will be responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues, managing incidents and problems, and following up for timely resolution.
  • The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess strong problem-solving skills, and be capable of working collaboratively as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with infrastructure partners and development teams to resolve production issues promptly.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot system issues to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
  • Triage incidents and follow problem management protocols through to resolution, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
  • Follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Work effectively in a shift-based environment, including rotation weekend support as needed.
Primary Skill:
  • Oracle SQL / PLSQL
Secondary Skill:
  • UNIX/SHELL SCRIPTS
Tertiary Skill:
  • JavaScript
Required Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Proven experience in production support or a related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Willingness to work in shifts and provide weekend support on a rotational basis.
  • Adept with Oracle, Autosys, Unix.
Desired Skills:
  • Certification in ITIL or relevant areas.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Shell).
  • Understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
