Role: Windows Production Support/Engineer Duration: 6-month contract Location: 100% RemoteProject: They are building a team for our DC Move - Move off our old servers. They are moving from VM to OpenStack environment. Looking for Linux and Windows folks to help move the product team over
- Building new and then the application is moving in - building shell VMS, need to be able to troubleshoot
MUST HAVES:
- The Engineer doing the build not as equally technical - more of a doer. 5+ years
- Support guys - more hands-on exp. 5+ experience
- Dedicated windows background - if there are issues they can troubleshoot
- Enterprise environment - 20-30k
- Experience and capability to troubleshoot at the OS layer
- Work well with others/Communication (Someone that can work with other Engineers to do the handoff - Culture fit)
**He has Red hat Consultants that handle the OpenStack stuff PLUS:
- Ansible - to troubleshoot or help with automation.
- Experience in an OpenStack environment - PLUS, but they will shadow someone on the engineering side to start and then they would hand off the work
