Job Responsibilities:
* Oversee the department's productivity.
* Manage the work log daily.
* Communicate to management and vendors effectively pertaining to work orders.
* Assembles pumps, motors, valves, controls, and subassemblies using required parts and components in a cost-effective manner to conform to installation and performance.
* Testing
* Troubleshooting
* Follows standard work instructions.
* Provide specific technical training to fellow employees within the department.
* Quoting
* Configuring work orders
* Provide technical support to supporting departments such as Remanufacturing and Quote for Repair
* Mechanically inclined and able to work independently.
* Perform other duties assigned and needed
Requirements:
* High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/ or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Must be highly motivated and able to work independently.
* Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 25 lbs. consistently with heavier weight necessary at times.
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to showcase vast hydraulic knowledge extending over serval product lines and technologies.
* Proven track record of high-level trouble shooting skills
* Ability to repair units making part quality decisions during process.
* Sound SAP skills
* Advanced critical thinking skills
* Proficient with both micrometers and caliper measuring tools.
* Ability to read interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
