Job DescriptionWest Jefferson piping company looking for a CNC Lead. Responsible for leading a team of machine operators. Client is looking for career-oriented candidates who will show up to work every day and on time. No extensive job hopping or gaps in work history. Schedule: 2: 30pm-1: 00a Monday- Thursday, w/ daily overtime and Saturdays if needed. Pay: $20General Overview (must be flexible to complete other assigned task as needed): Give direction to employees and lead in all aspects of the Threading, CNC, and Bending department functions. Maintain records, take inventory and prepare reports as required. Perform Q.A. Inspections, measure parts and look up parts drawings. Must be able to maintain production standards on machines. Candidates familiar with Landis Pipe Threader Machines or Pipe's Bending Machines a plus. Train new, transferred or less qualified employees. Load and unload trucks when required. Process orders Perform quality inspections Skills needed: Forklift experience Machine operation experience Read, write and work with set p drawings while performing tool changes. Above Math skills required - add, subtract, multiply, divide, and ability read a tape measure, and work with fractions/degrees Computer literacy Prior setup experience, will be considered an asset Physical: Ability to work at various positions while changing tools/dies and working on equipment. Ability to lift up to 100 pounds while standing, walking and working on equipment. Working Conditions:Factory setting, non-temp controlled, may get dirty as you will be working with metal pipe and oil, steel toed boots required. Safety glasses and ear plugs provided.
