- Follow hands-on training in each area, perform tube forming, hot-air, IR or contact welding, assembly of tubing and tube fittings, and machining of high-purity plastics.
- Follow drawings, measurements, specifications, and other details provided by Engineering team without exception.
- Utilize a high level of attention to detail to minimize waste and maximize efficiency in production operations.
- Meet or exceed production pace to meet assigned requirements on a daily basis; communicate any gaps in training, material, or equipment to Production Lead(s) to ensure consistent success.
- Maintain a positive, flexible approach to work assignments and interactions with team members across the business.
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Working knowledge of using basic tools for accurate measurement, cutting, drilling, and other production techniques
- Ability to read and follow diagrams desired
- Experience in a production environment desired
- The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
- Use a keyboard, 10- key and other office equipment
- Frequently sit, stand, walk, use stairs, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Reach with hands and arms
- Talk and hear
- The employee must occasionally climb ladders and stoop or kneel.
