On our team, you'll have the support to excel at work and the resources to build a career you can be proud of.1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pmAs the Production Technician Associate, you will assemble trailer components and sub-assemblies, as well as perform quality inspections of components and sub-assemblies.Pay, benefits and more.We offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package, including full health insurance (medical, dental and vision), 401(k), life insurance, disability and more.What you'll do on a typical day:Identify and perform repetitive assembly of various trailer component parts using blueprints or work instructionsSafely utilize various measuring and inspection instrumentsUse various power and hand tools in a safe mannerWork with a variety of materials, including steel, sheet metal, aluminum, solvents, oils and abrasivesRecommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and quality standardsOrganize parts and equipment to maximize efficiency within departmentWhat you need to succeed at GXO:At a minimum, you'll need:A high degree of technical skills and assembling techniquesDemonstrated ability to read, understand and follow job orders and work proceduresAbility to perform work in a manufacturing environmentIt'd be great if you also have:High school diploma or equivalent work or military experience2 years of experience and proven track record of successful performance in a warehouse environmentAvailability to travel more than 75% of the timeProven ability to collaborate with and support other team membersAbility to be engaged and productive while remaining flexible and adaptable to changing conditions and expectationsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentThis job requires the ability to:Lift up to 50 lbs.Work outside on occasionReach (including above your head)Safely walk, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneelVisually adjust focus, have depth perception and close vision capabilitiesWe engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains.GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
