Production Technician -Bindery OperatorThe Pioneer Group, a Hearst Newspaper Company, has an immediate opening for an experienced Production Technician - Bindery Operator to support the printing of four daily newspapers as well as commercial web offset printing. This is a day shift role and when not running a stitcher you will be trained on Ink Jet Mailing, and Inserter machine operation.Responsibilities* Muller-Martini Saddle stitcher machine operation* Preventative maintenance and troubleshooting,* Machine repair* Cross-training and staff scheduling* Packaging, and skid loadingQualifications* high school diploma.* 1+ years' experience operating a Stitcher-Trimmer* Current hold or able to obtain a forklift license.* Experience with mechanical troubleshooting.* A sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.* Strong math skills* Team player and crew leadership#LI-BV1
