As a Production Technician-Crystals Division with PCB Piezotronics, Inc, you will perform a variety of production tasks that require the ability to follow written/verbal instructions and a thorough knowledge of techniques, materials, tools and equipment. Follow all PCB procedures and forms in compliance to ISO 9001.

Additional Duties:

+ Refers to drawings, routers, and procedures to perform various processes required to produce crystals.

+ Performs in-process inspection and testing of crystals, records data as required

+ Learns and uses microscope, basic tools, fine hand tools, micrometers and various processing and test equipment.

+ Responsible for simple set ups, operation, and cleaning of various equipment per procedure. May operate hot plates, ovens, furnaces, ultrasonic cleaners, laser etchers, chemical or vapor plating equipment, poling stations, precision test instrumentation, and other equipment as needed.

+ Shows commitment to quality and total customer satisfaction through dedicating skills to achieve zero defect status and works with engineering to support continuous improvement projects.

+ Provides information to department leadership and co-workers to positively affect quality and output.

+ Follows established procedures with respect to workplace health, safety, and environmental requirements.

+ Responsible for following company hazardous waste management procedures for hazardous wastes which are routinely generated through the manufacturing processes performed during normal duties.

+ Maintains a clean and organized working area, and follows established department cleaning requirements.

+ Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of department and PCB.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High school graduate or equivalent

Experience: Experience handling small parts with tweezers and using a microscope, preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: Basic computer skills, and good documentation and communication skills is beneficial.

This position requires access to controlled technology as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. 730 et. seq.) and technical data as defined in the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (22 C.F.R, Chapter 1, Subchapter M).
