Our services are accredited to the ISO 9001 quality standard.Job DescriptionProduction Technician II, PolyFrit Manufacturing is responsible for producing laboratory consumables that are used by customers in Oligo manufacturing. Employee responsibilities for PolyFrit manufacturing include; utilization of light tooling, equipment set up, light maintenance and keeping your work area clean in accordance with our Quality and operational standards. Daily tasks involve but are not limited to; weighing, mixing, handling very small objects, operating heating devices and utilization of other small mechanical tools. In addition, the position will assist with quality inspection and packaging operations for these products. This position will be responsible for maintaining and updating process documentation. This individual must be extremely detail oriented, very quality conscious, and have the ability to identify and communicate opportunities for improvement in the manufacturing processes. This position works both independently and as part of a team.PolyFrit Manufacturing: Production of PolyFrits is to fill both internal and external customer orders in accordance with written processes and methods.Perform quality spot checks: Complete all quality checks outlined in the process documentation and work with QC personnel to identify and eliminate any quality errors.Safety and Training: Follow all safety guidelines as required by the manufacturing process and as mandated by LGC. Adherence to company Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) policy.Maintain an orderly and clean work environment: Completion of daily and weekly maintenance tasks and cleaning as laid out in work instructions, check lists, and other provided process documentation.Offer constructive suggestions for process improvement: Provide insights on process and equipment improvements as they are identified through manufacturing.Other Duties as Assigned: Responds with flexibility and collaboration to the needs of the business by addressing important corporate initiatives when requested by management.Qualifications* High school diploma or GED required.
