A sophisticated security organization and industry leader in x-ray detection technology is looking for a Production Test Technician and E/M Assemblers in their Billerica, MA location (25 miles north of Boston City Center). This company has 75 years of collective industry expertise and has sold more than 2,000 cargo and vehicle inspection systems in over 100 countries.Their broad range of cargo and vehicle scanning systems utilize multiple x-ray technologies to assist customers at ports, borders, military, high-threat facilities, and checkpoints to combat terrorism, drug smuggling, illegal immigration, and trade fraud. With a commitment to excellence in imaging performance, innovative design, and uncompromising quality, they deliver best-in-class imaging, high reliability, and operator satisfaction, to help customers find threats and contraband with ease and confidence. This organization has large contracts with the US Government and Customs and Border Patrol.The organization is looking to fill three key roles with veteran logistics and supply chain talent. The VP of Operations is a former Marine. Production Test Technician - plays a key part in the testing and control of a variety of components, subassemblies and assembled goods related to the production of X-ray based Inspection systems to support the business. This includes calibration, testing, troubleshooting and continuously improving the relevant processes to enable the objectives of the team to be achieved. 1st shift role. Compensation: $29-$35/hr plus overtime, 5K sign on bonus, benefits, and 401k.E/M Assembler - performs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical production assembly and subassembly operations on complex capital equipment. You will build and test baggage inspection for airports, container inspection for ports and mobile inspection vehicles for boarders and special events. As a highly skilled specialist, you will complete complex tasks in creative and effective ways with very few errors. You need to be enthusiastic and self-motivate and work well with others in a team with little supervision. 1st shift role. Compensation $25-$28/hr, plus overtime, 5K sign on bonus, full benefits, and 401k.
