Responsibilities

3rd Shift - 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday through Friday

Pay Grade: HR130

Starting Pay: $21.38/hr

Now hiring at our Cranberry Township, Pennsylvania plant for a Production Technician in Printed Circuit Boards. The responsibilities of this position are primarily to:

* Assemble and test moderately complex circuit boards and/or sub-assemblies requiring wiring and soldering. Install wires, leads and a variety of thru-hole components. Solder components and leads.

* May be required to pick parts from the warehouse.

* Troubleshoot minor assembly problems.

* Perform visual inspection, minor repairs and rework.

* Perform basic calibration using existing test setups or procedures. Use a variety of precision testing and measuring instruments.

* Set up automated assembly machines, making necessary machine adjustments for start up and operation.

* Transfer finished boards and sub-assemblies to appropriate work area.

* Complete and maintain relevant paperwork and input information in computer system.

Qualifications

Requirements:

* Strong manual dexterity for use of tools and performing work on small components requiring fine finger manipulation and hand steadiness.

* Operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.

* Willingness to work on various product groups and work flexible shifts.

Ability to:

* Identify various electronic components.

* Read and understand drawings, work instructions and test procedures.

* Understand standard units of measure and set-up and interpret results of various measuring devices.

* Perform standard software operations including SAP.

* Infrequently stand in a stationary position and lift, carry, push and pull up to 40 pounds without assistance.

* Use power and hand tools.

* Concentrate for prolonged periods of time and regularly perform work that requires magnification.

* Work in a team environment.

* Wear ANSI Z87 approved safety glasses, steel toe shoes and other PPE as required per Job Safety Analysis.

Education and Experience Required:

* High School Diploma or equivalent

* Minimum 3 months manufacturing or other related experience

Experience Preferred:

* Past soldering experience
