Your Role The Production Technology Engineering Manager is part of the engineering team that overseas production engineering projects such as installation, commissioning, validation and improvement of production systems and processes.
Here are some key responsibilities in this role: - Responsible for the strategy development for manufacturing capacity & capabilities of the Medical Business Unit (i.e., drawing, coating, braiding, plating, shape-setting, etc.).
- Industrialization of new products (collaboration with product development from R&D).
- Defining and implementing the production technology strategy and creating machine specifications in line with company objectives and customer requirements.
- Manage the budget, resources and risks of manufacturing engineering and optimize the return on investment (ROI) and total cost of ownership (TCO) of manufacturing assets.
About You We are looking for someone with a bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, technology, or a related field and completed technical or commercial training. An ideal candidate will have relevant work experience of 5 years or more in production, manufacturing, or engineering, preferably in a leadership or managerial role.
Required Qualifications - Have strong skills and knowledge of various production technologies, such as automation, robotics, sensors, software, or hardware.
- Have excellent communication, problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work well with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel approx. 30%, as well as confident use of digital media and intercultural experience.
- Licenses and Diplomas: CE representative.
