Our company encourages diversity and inclusion in all its forms while our products make the world a more beautiful, safer, and sustainablehome .What's the job?The Production Trainer will be supporting the success of employees from entry level to providing development support when areas are identified by management.The Trainer will support the production efforts beginning with new hire orientation, position training, safety, and production operations for the manufacturing plant. This role with work with other team members to researching, developing content, training delivery, and evaluating training effectiveness for new and existing employees.In this role, the Trainer will:Work primarily Monday to Friday coordinating and executing training content to new and existing employees.Develop of training materials; assist with evaluating training effectiveness.Deliver training using various methods (individual, group, on-the-job, etc.) related to production lines and operations.Proactively identify areas to improve training through monitoring trainees; job evaluation; and supporting the qualification process for employees to increase performance and job skills.Coordinate training logistics, such as, scheduling, tracking, record keeping, and maintaining training materials.Work cross-functionally to help maintain the plant's training records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.Developing and retaining an up-to-date knowledge of current working practices by periodically spending time working with the employees on the production line.What do you bring?High School Diploma with 5+ years of hands-on continuous manufacturing experience.Ability to work effectively in a team environment, work independently, and demonstrate basic leadership abilities.Math skills required (arithmetic and measurements).Ability to utilize measurement tools including caliper, micrometer, and tape measure.Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.Computer knowledge must be proficient in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).Strong written and verbal communication and comprehension skills.Willing to travel occasionally for training and development.Through the responsible development of innovative and sustainable building products,CertainTeed, headquartered in Malvern, Pennsylvania, has helped shape the building products industry for more than 110 years.
