Position at JBS USA Position Description: A Trimmer Operator can be assigned to the Production Area as a Knife Operator or Trimmer Operator. The operator will need to perform and understand the following:Understand machine safety and safety switches. Understand machine controls. Understand acceptable output of machine (product specification)Perform pre-start up analysis and maintain daily activity log. Identify machine malfunctions and notify management. Understand and maintain product flow and procedures. Understand customers trim specifications and sub primals. Make product change adjustments. Maintain labor standards and pace. Good Meat cutting skills for both Beef and Pork products. Good knife sharpening skills. Knowledge of various cuts/styles for Beef and Pork products. Excellent communication skills. Knowledge of production equipment. Must be able to lift 5 pounds. Monitor and program metal detector and document performance.
