Production Underwriter. This role is responsible for producing & developing a commercial admitted book of business. Each employee is a vital leader of our production teams. We are looking for people with: - Minimum 2 years of commercial account management experience in a retail insurance agency or wholesaler environment preferred.
- Experience with commercial admitted carrier products and rating platforms
- P&C license preferred.
- Insurance designations appreciated.
Snapshot of what Amwins provides to our team members: - Pursuant to New York City regulation, the salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 and includes eligibility for industry leading bonus plan.

Key responsibilities include: - Liaise with carrier personnel and retail agents daily to assist with placement, retention, and resolution of risks by quoting and binding accounts.
- Develop agency marketing plans to drive new business production and renewal retention with a customer-oriented focus.
- Sell and distribute Amwins Admitted products including in person agency visits to develop that business.
- Build relationships with agencies and analyze accounts to prioritize opportunities.
- Develop highly collaborative internal relationships and follow-up on cross selling opportunities when appropriate.
