Pay

$18.47 - $19.19 / hour

Plus shift premium of $1.00 / hour for 2nd shift OR $2.00 / hour for 3rd shift

Schedule

2nd Shift

Sunday - Thursday, 2:30 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. (other days and hours as needed)

OR

3rd Shift

Sunday - Thursday, 10:30 p.m. - 6:30 a.m. (other days and hours as needed)

Job Summary

McKee Foods is seeking a Production Worker to join our team at our Collegedale, TN location. This position will report to the Production Supervisor. As a Production Worker, you will play an important role on our high-speed production line, ensuring the efficient and precise packaging of our snack cakes. Your key responsibilities will include:

* Assisting with the packaging and inspection of finished food products that may include:

* Packaging unwrapped snack cakes into individual wrapping

* Placing wrapped snack cakes into cartons

* Filling cases with cartons of snack cakes

* Arranging cases onto pallets for shipment, following specific stacking patterns

* Monitoring production processes to meet quality and productivity targets

* Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth workflow and troubleshoot any issues that arise

* Following production schedules and meeting production quotas

* Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean and organized work area

Required Qualifications

* Ability to meet strict attendance guidelines (with or without an accommodation)

* Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced production environment

* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining safety and quality standards

* Ability to stand for extended periods

* Basic computer skills and ability to learn production systems/software

* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate with others

* Ability to learn new processes, procedures, and equipment

* Ability to lift 20 to 40 pounds on a regular basis (with or without an accommodation)

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

* Previous experience in food manufacturing or a related field
