We have an opportunity for an entry-level production Ambassador on our awesome Operations team! The primary function of the Production Worker is to carry out various tasks including operating production line equipment, ensure correct raw materials are available, check quality of all products entering the production area, and more! Ambassadors in this position will be expected to develop and display knowledge, skills, and willingness to learn and perform variety of tasks, flex to work needs, drive safely, maintain ongoing positive and collaborative work behaviors, and reliably work all scheduled hours. POSITION DETAILS

  • Shift Times: 3:30pm - 2:00am, Monday - Thursday, with occasional overtime
  • Pay Schedule: Weekly
HERE'S WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Demonstrates the Core Values of Comfort Research in daily actions, execution of tasks and interactions with others.
  • Feed raw materials into the production lines
  • Assemble various size boxes
  • Monitor production process
  • Carry out basic quality inspections and record deficiencies
  • Operate floor jacks to move inventory
  • Pack Finished Goods for shipping
  • Unload/Load containers as necessary
  • Affix labels and other exterior labels on Finished Goods
  • Adheres to all safety standards at all times
  • Machine set up, including lock out - tag out procedures
  • Communicates Machine Runs & Hours to go to Leads & Plant Manager
  • Demonstrates a high degree of quality in their work in fill rates according to the Bill of Materials, ensures no foreign objects are in our products (Metal, Plastic, Trash, Hard Chunks of Foam Skin, Zipper Pulls). Final box quality and labeling that is consistent with a great customer experience per defined specifications. Uses principles of Customer Focused Quality and adheres to product / process specifications.
  • Manage product flow through the tent to ensure order accuracy.
  • Communicates quality problems with other team members and pick to ensure timely turnaround of any shortages.
  • Assist in achieving on-time objectives
  • Understand and properly use the required measurement equipment including weight scale
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment adhere to 6s Standards
  • Takes accountability when standards are not meet to continual improve by expecting the best and finding a better way to minimize waste.
  • Coordinate production with purchasing, maintenance and quality control
  • Learns to perform proper quality checks essential to each work area. Shares information regarding non-conforming product for quality product to be shipped and proper processes to be followed.
  • Shares appropriate information with team leader, supervisor, and/or maintenance personnel of any mechanical problems and/or shortages that would interfere with production.
  • Performs and cross trains on other job functions as directed; may rotate through various tasks in work area.
  • Assures and maintains safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties.
  • Develops skills to problem solve effectively with others.
  • May learn to assist with completion of appropriate paperwork.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience in production processes preferred.
  • Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace.
  • Ability to read and understand job aids and other instructional material printed in English preferred.
  • Ability to lift/move product weighing up to 50 pounds unassisted and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Ability to work within team environment required.
