Job Summary: Operate molding machines and handle insert and secondary operations effectively.
Essential Functions:
- Team Collaboration: Contribute to team goals by achieving related tasks as needed.
- Product Handling: Execute functions according to product specifications and work order requirements, including removing parts from the molding machine, and performing post-molding tasks such as removing sprues, gates, and flash.
- Tool Usage: Utilize the appropriate tools and equipment effectively.
- Documentation: Accurately document actions by completing production and quality forms.
- Process Monitoring: Inspect and monitor product quality to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Performance Goals: Meet or surpass established manufacturing targets.
- Attendance: Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure a safe and clean work environment by following safety procedures and company policies.
- Flexibility: Accept supervision and instructions, and be willing to perform additional duties as assigned.
Physical Requirements:
- Tool Handling: Frequently use hands for handling tools and objects, with adequate dexterity for manipulating equipment.
- Mobility: Ability to stoop, bend, lift up to 40 lbs, and stand or walk for extended periods. Occasionally use step ladders or raised platforms and reach with hands and arms.
- Vision: Close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are required.
- Safety Gear: Wear safety glasses with side shields in all production areas and hearing protection in designated zones.
- Work Environment: Perform duties in a manufacturing setting with varying temperatures and potential safety hazards due to machinery and forklift traffic. This position is classified as safety-sensitive.
