Join our team. #CloroxIsThePlace ( role at Clorox:Kingsford Manufacturing in Springfield, OR manufactures America's best-loved charcoal briquet for the West Coast, fulfilling our mission to provide sustainable and trusted grilling products that bring people together.Our team is composed of individuals who possess advanced technical skills, are dedicated to process improvement and have a passion for our product and our plant.Starting Hourly Rate - $22.92 plus $1.00 shift differential on the night shift.Work Schedule (Briquetting/Process) –12-hour shifts (6am – 6pm/6pm – 6am)2-2-3 schedule56-day rotation (8 weeks of day shift, followed by 8 weeks of night shift)This job posting will close on November 17, 2024.In this role, you will:The Production Worker is responsible for the processing, manufacture, packaging, storage and distribution of charcoal briquettes.Plant department overview:Retort – In the Retort department we convert wood waste to char that goes into the charcoal briquettesBriquetting – In the Briquetting department we combine the char and other raw materials to create the charcoal briquettePackaging – In the Packaging department we operate machines that package finished charcoal briquettes into bagsWarehouse – In the Warehouse we store finished bags of charcoal briquettes for shipments to customers or other warehousesThe Production Worker principally works in briquetting (process) and duties may include:Unloading bulk raw materials from rail carsMovement of materials across the work siteHousekeeping and organization, both in the interior and exterior plant environmentFilling in for roles such as dryer tending, bulldozer, forklift driver, quality lab, packaging & shippingWhat we look for:High school diploma or equivalentWe seek out and celebrate diverse backgrounds and experiences.
