Additionally, change lime bags as necessary.Pouring IronWeigh coke and lime before each charge, check the coke and lime scale.Clean the cupola long runner.Clean pig bed and transfer ladle pits and any other areas assigned by supervisor.Work with supervisor if ladles need to be repaired before the production run.Communicate supervisor/s on issues that arise.Position 2: Casting SpareCheck the temperature of the iron hourly, remove slag from iron by using skimmer.Remove buildup from quad ladle as needed, in addition to keeping the ladle full always.Ensure the trough is heated properly. Maintain the maintenance of the trough by removing slivers, iron buildup, slag, and blackening.Inspect machinery for mold defects.Operate control panels to operate machinery.Apply grease on spigot ring using a brush to spinning pipe mold.
