You'll be:• Performing pre-operation checks for both individual machines and work area to ensure safety.• Assembling conical bit bodies, braze material, and carbide tips.• Operating braze line, press, and clipper or pack station at optimal levels.• Inspecting parts to meet established ISO requirements.• Supporting functions and change-overs to meet established due dates.• Tracking and problem-solving of materials used and efficient equipment use to reduce cost.• Managing work in progress (WIP) and components such as carbide, braze, flux, and steel bodies.• Participating in lean events and utilizing lean processes in daily duties.• Performing daily required TPM on associated equipment.• Performing daily required 5S activities for the work area.• Accurately and timely recording of required data such as production and quality.This job might be an outstanding fit if you:• Have experience in assembly and brazing.• Possess strong attention to detail and quality.• Are able to work in a fast-paced environment.• Have the ability to follow instructions and work independently.• Have good communication and teamwork skills.What happens next:Once you apply, you'll proceed to the next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
