SUMMARY Serve as Professional Land Surveyor to perform boundary and topographic surveying projects. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Reports to Survey Team Leader. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Perform and oversee the development of boundary and topographic surveys using a variety of surveying methods.
- Supervise and provide technical and project managerial support to assigned surveyors and technicians.
- Perform Business Development functions such as sales to existing and new Clients.
- Act as Project Manager and Project Surveyor on projects as required to meet Team and company needs.
- Help train and mentor surveyors, technicians and supporting staff.
- Coordinate with other company staff as required.
- Be an example to aspire to within the Team, the Company and our Client base.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor in Missouri and other states as required for projects. Riding and/or driving in a vehicle is commonly required for up to 6 hours at a time. POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK This is a full-time position. Most work weeks will be 40 or more hours. Hours are somewhat flexible and some late evenings and/or weekends may be required. TRAVEL There may be occasional overnight travel for this position. Some local day travel may also be required.
