Job Title: Profile Developer
Location(s): Hybrid (Wilmington, DE)(Onsite 3 days per week, Tuesday through Thursday)
Responsibilities: A Profile Developer within our Retail Bank Technology requires the design, coding, and testing of software projects, with a special focus on the underlying architecture of systems and integration between them. Duties include development in one or more of the following technologies: Mumps, Profile Scripting Language (PSL), SQL.
- Work with the Development Team Leader and business owners to refine and clarify project requirements.
- Work with the Development Team Leader to help manage tasks and stories.
- Provide team leadership and proactively seek out areas for improvement.
- Produce detailed design specifications from project requirements.
- Design, Develop & test Projects using existing design standards and within accepted defect rate based on specification documents.
- Help gather and provide input to assist in overall team process improvement and product design stability.
- Properly track issues and resolutions in relation to the development effort using JIRA.
- Ensure that all code retains logical stability, reliability, confidentiality, and integrity of systems in accordance with client policies, procedures and guidelines.
Basic Qualifications:
- At least 5 years of professional experience developing on Profile application (MUMPS and PSL)
- At last 5 years of professional experience developing banking software such as financial products and financial reporting features
- 3+ years working in an Agile Environment
- At least 2 years of professional experience with multi-tier system design and implementation
- Scripting language experience (Shell Scripts, Awk)
- Knowledge of cloud engineering topics.
- Good working knowledge of banking concepts
